A career as a Senior Director of Risk Quantification, Subsidiary Risk Management, and Special Projects at National Bank means supporting the implementation of NBC's risk management strategy and being responsible for conducting quantitative assessments of technological, cybersecurity, and data risks, as well as any related risk analysis.

Your Job

Reporting to the Vice President of Technological, Cyber, and Data Risk Management, your role in the team will be to:

  • Define the monetary risk quantification strategy for technological and cybersecurity risks;
  • Conduct quantitative assessments of technological and cybersecurity risks using the FAIR methodology;
  • Advise on the prioritization of technological projects to address the most critical risks based on the bank's risk appetite, define action plans, and influence the implementation of remediation projects when necessary;
  • Create trust and collaboration links with business units in the first line of defense to improve the bank's posture in terms of technological, cyber, and data risks;
  • Execute the bank's subsidiary risk management strategy;
  • Supervise and report on the bank's subsidiary risks;
  • Lead special projects that require deep dives on a particular risk subject or initiative, in collaboration with other leadership colleagues of the Vice Presidency (e.g., acquisition of CWB bank by the Bank);
  • Collaborate with other members of the Vice Presidency team for technological, cyber, and data risk management, particularly in conducting qualitative risk analyses related to the quantification of technological, cybersecurity, and data risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree related to the field and 15 years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the field and at least 10 years of experience in technology risk management and/or cybersecurity;
  • Experience in technological and/or cybersecurity risks;
  • Experience in quantitative assessment of technological and cybersecurity risks using the FAIR methodology;
  • Knowledge in IT governance and cybersecurity in large organizations;
  • Project management knowledge;
  • Experience in the financial sector;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Synthesis capacity;
  • Certifications in technological risk management and cybersecurity (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP).
