Reporting to the Financial Markets and Treasury Payments Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of operations related to NY international payments activities. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a team that values ​​customer satisfaction, performance, collaboration and innovation. Work schedules include work from home (60%) and on-site work (40%).

 

Your job

  • Analyze and process complex payment files, execute transactions, prepare payment offers and follow up with the various parties
  • Using the tools / systems in place, carry out the required transactions, while ensuring that deadlines and deadlines related to operations are respected.
  • Perform control activities on the integrity of information processed according to the standards and policies in force, ensure the accuracy of payments related to transactions under your responsibility (be accountable for activities under your responsibility)
  • Master the information related to its end-to-end business process
  • Act as a resource person for internal and/or external auditors and stakeholders (financial markets / NY).
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and improvement of existing processes

Required Skills

  • Holder of a college diploma or any other combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
  • Propensity to provide fast and efficient customer service
  • Have knowledge of the Office suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively in French and English, as we have clients across Canada
  • Great ability to work under pressure, versatility, meticulousness and rigor

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking industry

• Understanding and experience in payment and treasury activities, such as international wire transfers

• Knowledge of Swift (SAA), Murex and Fiserv systems and applications.

 

Special conditions: The candidate must be available to work according to operational needs. In addition, the candidate must be available to work on certain holidays.
