A career as an Advisor on the Credit Capital Markets Loan Administration team at National Bank means putting your expertise to deliver trusted advice to internal and external parties. In this role, you can use your Loan Administration work experience to have a positive impact on the organization.


Your Job


  • Review the executed legal documentation to ensure proper monitoring of financial obligations and other reporting requirements for Corporate borrowers.
  • Control and monitor all security documentation as set forth in the Credit Agreement.
  • Manage the creation, organization, and timely posting of deal documents within the loan syndication platform (DebtDomain).
  • Follow procedures set to identify risks associated with borrowers/client of Credit Capital Markets.
  • Identify client’s needs and propose appropriate solutions to support the implementation of activities considering the diversity of cases and the bank’s operational limitations.
  • Interact with different sectors of the Bank, managers, and employees to interpret information and offer support and advice on ambiguous situations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in teamwork, sharing insights, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

You will be part of a team of 8 colleagues in the Montreal office, and you will report to the Senior Director, Loan Administration. Basic Requirements


  • Has extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of the technical or professional field
  • Requires a 3-year Professional College Diploma (DEC) and 6 to 7 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 4 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a fast changing and high-pressure environment
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
  • Be able to work well in a team environment
  • Familiar with Loan IQ (loan database system) (asset)
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
