A career as a Domain Architect in the it Delivery Architecture – wealth Management team at National Bank means serving as a Business Architect Specialist. This position allows you to have a concrete impact on the client, employee and partner experience, as well as on the profitability and growth of the Insurance sector thanks to your expertise in architecture, knowledge of the insurance industry and understanding of technology.

Your job

  • Define and develop the strategic vision of the field in collaboration with the business lines and support decision-making
  • Translate business issues and needs into multi-channel strategies and solutions aligned with operational realities
  • Design, maintain and develop the mapping of business capabilities and the technology roadmap for the field
  • Support delivery teams to ensure solutions are aligned with architecture standards and strategic orientations
  • Optimize the application portfolio by managing technical debt, obsolescence and simplifying the it ecosystem
  • Monitor trends and contribute to innovation by integrating business and technology best practises

The Vice-President – it Delivery – wealth Management is a specialised team that works in an agile, proactive and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology and continuously improve processes.
You are part of a team of 10 colleagues in wealth Management and will report to the Senior Manager – Architect, Strategy and Delivery. Our team stands out for its expertise, proximity to the business line and strong collaboration among its members.

Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience as a Senior Architect in delivering large-scale projects in large companies
  • Solid knowledge of the insurance industry and its integration into digital environments (self-service, digital pathway)
  • Master data, analytics and artificial intelligence concepts applied to insurance
  • Mastering modern technologies and architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud, DevOps, security, data flows, etc.)
  • Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS) is an asset
  • Strong ability to synthesise, analyse, explain and influence

    Languages:
    English, French
    Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
