Being a product manager means being responsible for a range of products and constantly adapting them based on the Bank’s strategic orientations, clients’ needs and market data. Being a partnership manager means managing and maintaining our relationships with partners while ensuring good third-party governance. 

Your role:

Product management

  • Define the vision, priorities and evolution roadmap for products under your responsibility to support the Personal Banking payment strategy and the Bank’s strategic orientations
  • Create business cases for initiatives and projects for financing approval
  • Continually improve existing products
  • Track and interpret payment indicators and the performance of products under your responsibility, make recommendations and carry out the appropriate corrections
  • Keep up with market trends, assess the Bank’s competitive position, track the products under your responsibility and recommend strategies to optimize positioning in the industry
  • Work closely with sectors concerned and stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, IT, Compliance)

Partnership management

  • Develop and manage business relationships with key external partners/third parties, align internal stakeholders and manage complaint escalation
  • Apply and ensure compliance with the Bank’s third-party governance process
  • Represent the sector on various committees and with internal and external stakeholders and help negotiate agreements with various business partners
  • Negotiate, manage and renew contractual agreements and conduct ongoing monitoring in collaboration with stakeholders in the Sourcing ecosystem
  • Ensure third parties follow compliance standards and applicable regulations

Your team:

You’ll join a team of 9 colleagues in the Payments sector and report to the Senior Manager – Payment Solutions.

Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience managing products and launching new products
  • Ability to identify, position and develop various business opportunities
  • Innovation, creativity, leadership, proactivity and analytical mindset
  • Very strong ability to influence and proven relationship skills in order to build and maintain relationships with external partners
  • Knowledge of payment solutions (bill payments; internal, external and international transfers; mobile payments; etc.), an asset
  • Experience with payment networks and/or entities that regulate payments, an asset
  • Experience in managing contractual agreements, third parties and/or business development, an asset
  • Knowledge of the third-party risk management process, an asset

English, French
