A career as a Senior Advisor, within the Wellness, Benefits and Recognition team at National Bank, means acting as a specialist in governance and the development of strategic Wellness and Benefits practices. This role allows you to have a tangible impact on the organization through your in-depth understanding of business priorities, your strategic mindset, and your ability to influence decisions with organization-wide impact.

In this cross-functional role, you contribute to the evolution of structuring practices that support employee experience, performance, and compliance, while ensuring alignment with business priorities and the regulatory framework.

Your role

  • Contribute to the definition of a global and integrated vision for wellness, benefits, and recognition programs by proactively assessing their impacts on systems, processes, employee experience, operational risks, and governance
  • Prioritize, structure, and advance strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects in collaboration with partner sectors, ensuring alignment with business priorities, the strategic plan, and the sector’s governance framework
  • Represent and advocate for the team’s expertise in corporate and sectoral forums, particularly in transformation contexts, mergers, acquisitions, or outsourcing, by identifying issues, impacts, and mitigation measures for employees
  • Lead the continuous improvement of program-related communications, both in content and format, to increase understanding, engagement, and adoption by employees and stakeholders
  • Conduct structured market, vendor, and regulatory monitoring, and formulate strategic recommendations to ensure program competitiveness, compliance, and sustainable evolution
  • Anticipate and manage risks by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, while producing impact analyses, cost modeling, strategic reports, and, when required, business cases to support decision-making
  • Advise and influence leaders and business partners by providing high-level expertise, a critical perspective, and a nuanced understanding of organizational issues

Your team 

Within the Employee Experience and Performance sector, you are part of a large team of approximately 45 colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Wellness, Benefits and Recognition. Our team stands out for its recognized expertise, innovative approach, and strong focus on continuous improvement. Prerequisite

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, or a related master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Recognized expertise in governance and in the development of policies or programs in benefits and wellness
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a large organizational environment
  • Strong command of impact analysis, cost modeling, and the formulation of strategic recommendations
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to organizational programs
  • Ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and political acumen
  • Collaboration and strong team spirit
  • Rigor and attention to detail
  • Clear communication and ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Creativity and ability to solve complex problems
