A career as a Senior Data Steward on the Financial crime team at National Bank means serving as a Data Management and Governance Specialist. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your expertise in rigourous data management, quality and strategic value.

 
Your job
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data and their specific requirements for business needs
  • Understand and analyse data in the sector or business area
  • Apply data governance and management best practises
  • Provide leadership in improving and managing data quality throughout the lifecycle
  • Assist new projects and initiatives by analysing the impacts on data requirements
  • Identify the needs of data consumers and make recommendations with the data owner

Your team
The Vice-President – Financial crime is made up of more than 400 specialists who work in an agile, proactive and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology and continuously improve processes.

You are part of a large team of 8 colleagues in the Financial crime sector and will report to the sector's Strategic Portfolio Manager. Prerequisites
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced experience in a sector or business field at the Bank
  • In-depth knowledge of data management and governance
  • Experience with data tools
  • Experience in impact analysis and project management
