A career as a communications strategy advisor on the National Bank Direct Brokerage team at National Bank means serving as a specialist in business strategy, communications, marketing and investment education. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your expertise in independent investing, financial literacy and creating value-added educational content for investors.

Your job

  • Develop and structure the complete client education offering, including webinars, videos, articles, tutorials and consistent and progressive learning paths.
  • Explain complex financial concepts in order to make them accessible, concrete and adapted to different investor profiles, from beginner to advanced levels.
  • Design and develop educational courses and content aligned with clients' real needs and their independent investment path.
  • Create, produce and present a variety of educational content, alone or in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Develop client education practises to improve understanding, adoption and use of the tools and features offered and promote the NBDB brand among investor communities.
  • Embody the voice of independent investors in the evolution of content, educational initiatives and communications.

Your team

Within the Business Strategy and Communications sector, you will be part of an evolving team and report to the Manager – Business Strategy and Communications. Our team stands out for its creativity, its approach focused on client impact, the quality of the content produced and its constant desire to develop the way we communicate with independent investors.

Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience in investment, financial education or specialised content creation, OR a master’s degree and equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience in independent investing and in-depth knowledge of financial markets and its products.
  • Experience designing educational or educational content, ideally related to financial products or services.
  • Proficiency in communication and financial literacy principles, proficiency in leadership, speaking up and in front of the camera.
  • Knowledge of social platforms, investment communities and media specialised in finance (active investors, regular monitoring, strong interest in markets)
  • CSC certification or relevant training in finance or investment, an asset.
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to reprensent the Bank at forums/conferences/events outside Quebec.
