A career as a Senior Advisor, Employee Engagement Strategies within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector at National Bank means actively contributing to the employee experience and supporting the sector’s strategic priorities through high-impact engagement initiatives.

In this role, you design and deliver mobilisation, recognition, and leadership positioning initiatives that strengthen engagement, collaboration, and performance across the sector, while also helping to showcase leaders and teams on internal platforms.

Your Role

• Design, implement, and evolve employee engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, proactivity, and a performance-driven culture within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector.
• Develop written, visual, and video content to support engagement, mobilisation, and leadership communication strategies.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of recognition strategies by analysing engagement survey results and translating insights into targeted, impactful actions.
• Collaborate in the creation of dynamic forums and spaces for exchange that encourage dialogue, sharing of best practices, and recognition of collective achievements, in partnership with Leadership Development, Performance, and HR teams.
• Highlight initiatives and employee contributions to reinforce engagement and excellence, using executive and internal communication channels.
• Monitor, research, and benchmark best practices in employee engagement to continuously improve approaches.
• Track, measure, and analyse the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and recommend enhancements based on results.
• Support the positioning of executives as inspiring ambassadors by contributing to their internal and external visibility and showcasing their vision, priorities, and achievements.
• Participate in special projects and provide support for ad hoc initiatives aligned with sector needs.

Your Team

You are part of the Strategy and Growth team for the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector and report to the Director, Employee Engagement Strategies and Leadership Impact.

You work in close collaboration with Internal Communications, HR Business Partners, Leadership Development, EDI, and Sales Performance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across engagement initiatives.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, marketing, or a related field, with 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in employee engagement through communications, content creation, and leadership development initiatives.
• Experience working on projects involving executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt messages to diverse audiences.
• Strong adaptability in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Video production coordination skills, including filming and editing (an important asset).
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and creativity.
• Knowledge of the financial industry and the Commercial sector (an asset).
