A career as an Active Directory System Configurator, reporting to the Cybersecurity IT delivery at National Bank of Canada, means being at the heart of our strategic thinking and creating value for the business lines and the organization.

Thanks to your willingness to put yourself into action, your mastery of the Active Directory environment and your knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) best practices, you take part in the creation of innovative solutions by responding to real business problems and by making sure the Bank's IT resources are put to good use.

Your job

  • Act as an expert with internal customers by supporting them in their consumption of the Active Directory (AD) service and Entra ID (Azure AD);
  • Be one of the key players who ensures the smooth running of the service on a daily basis (requests, incidents, changes) in accordance with the Bank's processes;
  • Contribute to the evolution of the AD ecosystem (risk updates and remediation), implement tools to facilitate the collection of information and the automation of activities;
  • Participate in the company's documentation effort (Wiki) and produce the reports/procedures necessary for the quality of deliverables for our clients (Jira);
  • Collaborate within your team and with the service consumers to achieve the common objectives of our large sector;

Prerequisite

  • College diploma with a specialization in computer science or an attestation of relevant studies.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Very good knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Advanced knowledge of complex and extensive enterprise networks in multi-cloud and hybrid contexts.
  • Ability to script and document your work.
  • Good understanding of networks and firewalls.
  • AWS knowledge is an asset.
