A career as a Scrum Master in the IT and Operations sector at National Bank means acting as a specialist in the Agile methodology that promotes collaboration and team efficiency using the Agile Scrum method, while ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your knowledge of agile principles, your in-depth understanding of the Scrum Framework, your communication, your ability to resolve conflicts, encourage collaboration and advocate for continuous improvement.

This job is temporary for 8 months.

Your job

Supervise and facilitate the daily activities and ceremonies of several squads within the IT team
Prepare and actively participate in change committees and PI Planning (prioritization, breakdown, presentation of commitments and achievements)
Facilitate and optimize collaboration and synergy between squads
Support the Product Owner (PO) in prioritizing and refining activities
Support the manager in the sound management of the various initiatives surrounding the team (budgets, schedules, risks and issues, asset management, etc.)
Act as a "coach" to colleagues less experienced in the use of the agile methodology and propose improvements that support the delivery of features
Diagnose problematic situations, facilitate their resolution by ensuring the implementation of solutions
Consistently and proactively raise risks and issues inherent in initiatives
Manage stakeholders and maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators
Support your team and other initiative managers in managing interdependencies and blockers.

Within the IT Delivery Area, Cards, Credit Risk, Collection & Recovery, you are part of a large team of 24 colleagues and report to the Director Card Assets.

Prerequisites

Completed bachelor's degree, related to the sector of activity, and several years of relevant experience or other diploma, related to the sector of activity and several years of relevant experience
Knowledge of agile methodologies (SAFe) and the role of Scrum Master, essential
Experience in projects affecting the IT and employee experience sector, an asset
Knowledge of the Mainframe applications, an asset
Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Be recognized as an ambassador of BN (Agility, Complicity, Power to Act) behaviors.

Languages:

English, French

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
