A career as a Senior Support Developer on the Clearing it, Capital Markets team at National Bank means that you can specialize in application support and development in critical technology environments.

This position allows you to be at the heart of Operations. Resolve complex incidents and continuously improve applications, while working closely with several IT teams. You contribute to offering robust, high-performance and sustainable solutions in a demanding operational environment.

Your job

  • Provide advanced technical support for the Clearing it team's critical applications, including analysis, diagnosis and resolution of incidents in production
  • Develop and develop applications and support tools to improve the stability, performance and automation of operational processes
  • Work on AWS cloud environments to support, maintain and optimise applications and their components
  • Work with the development, infrastructure, security, database and operations teams to identify root causes and implement lasting corrective measures
  • Participate in releases, post-deployment validations and support for new features in compliance with operational requirements
  • Document and share knowledge related to architectures, support procedures and best practices in order to promote effective knowledge transfer

Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and 5 years of experience
  • Significant experience in application development and senior technical support in complex or critical environments (L1/L2)
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud environments and cloud architecture principles
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C# or C++
  • Experience with rest APIs, version control and modern development and operating practices
  • knowledge of AVBAs (Excel, Access) for automation and operational support, considered a major asset

English, French
