In this role, you will help Wealth Advisors to stand out by offering exceptional customer service that will have a positive, long-term impact on our clients.


Your job:

  • Assist the Wealth Advisor in all administrative tasks and activities related to the management of high net worth client accounts while providing superior client service
  • Specific tasks include fund transfers, contributions and withdrawals and monitoring incoming and outgoing transfers as well as assisting in executing trades and security transactions
  • Open and maintain client files according to industry requirements
  • Assist with client activities by managing agendas, scheduling appointments and preparing for client meetings
  • Add value by helping to identify client needs and assisting in analysis and client preparation materials
  • Actively participate in activities related to the team's business development
  • Keep operational and regulatory knowledge up to date and ensure compliance and risk management rules are respected
  • Act as a resource in resolving client issues
  • Guide and train new employees, and mentor peers on complex products, procedures and policies
  • Work collectively with colleagues and other departments within the bank
  • The candidate must be able to identify the risks inherent in the Wealth Management sector’s activities


Your team:

Private Banking 1859 is dedicated to providing wealth management services and advice to a distinctive and high net worth clientele. Reporting to the Investment Customer Service Manager, you will be part of a team working with one to two Wealth Advisors to deliver exceptional client experience. Collaboration, teamwork, and proactivity will be the keys to your success.


Prerequisites:

  • College diploma in administration (Bachelor of Business Administration is an asset) and a minimum of 3 years' industry experience
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH®)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Good knowledge of CROESUS software, desirable
  • Ability to learn computer systems quickly
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Client service experience
  • Ability to bring the Bank's values to life within the team
  • Ability and interest in teamwork
  • Organizational skills, autonomy and initiative
