A career as an Account Specialist in the Equipment Finance team at National Bank means acting as a key contributor who supports leasing and financing transactions from start to finish. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization by leveraging your experience in lease administration, credit coordination, documentation, and customer support to help achieve growth objectives while ensuring accuracy, risk management, and client satisfaction.

In this role, you respond to real operational challenges and play an essential part in delivering a smooth experience for clients, vendors, and internal partners. You help ensure that each transaction is processed efficiently, complies with policies, and contributes to the long-term success of the business.

Your role

  • Support account executives in managing leasing and financing transactions from application through funding
  • Coordinate credit applications by gathering, validating, and communicating financial and business information
  • Drive documentation, funding, and follow-up activities to ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors by responding to inquiries and providing clear solutions
  • Identify risks, documentation gaps, or compliance issues and propose appropriate solutions with internal partners
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and client experience

Your team

Within the Equipment Finance Operations department, you are part of a collaborative team and report to the Sales Coordination Manager. Requirements

  • Hold a college diploma or university degree in business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Have a minimum of five years of experience in leasing, financing, or sales administration within a financial services environment
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of leasing products, documentation, and transaction lifecycles
  • Possess experience working with credit applications, financial statements, and transaction risk considerations
  • Show proficiency in using financial or leasing systems and tools related to transaction management
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
