A career in Capital Markets Operations – Listed Cleared Derivatives  team at National Bank – means contributing your expertise to the development and execution of the business strategy for financial markets and wealth management. Your role

  • Serve as a resource person for back-office activities
  • Analyze discrepancies in derivatives transactions
  • Manage the derivatives settlements
  • Validate margin calls for clients
  • Interact with different departments within the Bank and more experienced professionals to provide support in daily operations
  • Identify the needs of the stakeholders, understand the problem presented and adapt your interventions, all while offering a quality service
  • Work autonomously, take initiative, and demonstrate attention to details

  • Be available during peak periods

Your team:

The team's mission is to contribute to the success of the financial markets through leading operational expertise and sound risk management. This position reports to the Director of Financial Markets Operations.

Prerequisites:

  • Three-year college diploma or academic equivalent, related to the sector of activity and three years of relevant experience. 

  • Strong knowledge of derivatives and financial markets..
  • Familiarity with transaction settlement process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, quickly, yet rigorously
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

English, French
