A career in Financial Markets Operations at National Bank means putting your expertise to work in the evolution and execution of the Financial Markets and Wealth Management business strategy. It is a job that allows you to live your ambitions with complicity and the power to act.  Thanks to your involvement in the various processes related to borrow/loan settlement you will participate in the transformation of the Bank.

Your job: 

  • Settle borrows and loans transactions executed on the International and Canadian Markets for Toronto and NY
  • Manage the risk by coordinating the exchange of collateral with counterparties  
  • Manage the daily cash flow on different settlement platforms
  • Analyze and provide information useful for decision-making, with the goal of optimizing our systems and work processes
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders, identify the problem and adapt your interventions according to the situation by offering quality service

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree related to the sector of activity OR a D.E.C and four years relevant experience
  • Experience in settling transactions
  • Knowledge of Markets and financial products 
  • Knowledge of MAX, ISM, DTC, CDS, G1 and Murex systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to clearly communicate instructions with various partners
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines on a daily basis
  • Excellent analytical skills, sense of initiative, autonomy and versatility 
  • Sense of organization, speed and precision of execution
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written) in French and English is essential
