A career in Domestic Market Events in the Financial Markets Operations at National Bank means putting your expertise to work in the evolution and execution of financial markets business strategy and wealth management. Thanks to your involvement in the various related processes to Domestic Market Events, you participate in the transformation of the Bank.

This is an evolving position and is part of a clear and determined development path that can allow you to evolve in your role and, thus, to access different levels of function and propel your career.

Your job :
  • Perform processing and analysis relating to distributions generated by securities, while taking into account deadlines and various variables (e.g. type of product and client, tax deductions, currency conversion), and various exceptions.
  • Analyze information received on market events and write memos for investment advisors
  • Collect, compile, and verify the accuracy of the varied and available data and reflect it in the client portfolios
  • Identify all risk elements associated with a file or situation
  • Analyze securities position and prepare accounting entries to reflect mandatory and optional reorganization events in client accounts
  • Interact with the various sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals in order to offer support in daily operations
  • Identify the needs of stakeholders, identify the problem presented and adapt your interventions, while providing quality service

Your team :

Join a team of 20 dynamic analysts who are constantly striving to have a major impact on the success of the Bank and Capital Markets. The team’s mission is to contribute to the success of capital markets through leading operational expertise and sound risk management. This position reports to the Senior Manager of financial Market Operations.

Prerequisites :
  • Be a holder of three-year college or university degree or academic equivalent, and four years of relevant experience
  • Experience related to securities operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Global Plus, XSP, ISM, AS00, desirable

English, French
