As a Senior Systems Engineering Expert you will be responsible for helping all IT teams to implement the necessary mechanisms to improve and maintain the highest standards of resilience and availability of IT services.


Your job

  • Promote resiliency and stability best practices among application and infrastructure teams.
  • Understand the main flows of our critical environments and identify single points of failure.
  • Support IT teams to improve their documentation and architecture diagram to include resilience and stability information.
  • Be able to perform application development and automate as needed.
  • Promote and increase the automation of IT tasks to reduce human error.
  • End-to-end stability analysis and recommendations to improve system performance and resiliency.
  • Promote good monitoring practices and support IT teams in the implementation of key indicators of resilience and stability.
  • Support IT teams following major events impacting the resilience of their systems.
  • Influencing the development strategy of SREs by establishing an RREs practice
  • Influence and help prioritize automation and optimization opportunities
  • This role is key to delivering our development plan in order to achieve our quality objectives.
  • He will also be called upon to have a transversal view of the IT Delivery, Payment, Cards, Data and Transversal aspects.

Within the Delivery, Payments, Cards and Regulatory Compliance sector, you will join a passionate team that cares about the customer. Our team stands out for its common goal of improving the performance, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization, i.e. processes, activities, tasks and more, by providing superior quality solutions and advice.

 

Prerequisite

  • 10 years of expertise in developing online services in a complex environment composed of new and old technologies (Legacy).
  • Expertise in software design of complex systems supporting thousands of competing clients.
  • Excellent understanding of DevSecOPS, monitoring, and observability principles.
  • Knowledge of the various MongoDB, Redis and SQL database technologies.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technology (service development, deployment, automation, and operations).
  • Experience in infra capacity analysis (CPU, Memory, Latency, IO, Bandwidth etc).
  • Experience in load testing and analysis.
  • Great ability to solve complex multi-system problems.
  • Excellent understanding of DevSecOPS and SRE principles, monitoring, and observability.
  • Expertise in complex ecosystem monitoring.
