A career as a Principal Agentic AI Solutions Architect within the Wealth Management and Financial Markets IT Delivery team at National Bank means playing a central role in designing and industrializing AI agent architectures capable of reasoning, planning, and acting to achieve business objectives—under robust governance.

You will be responsible for the target architecture (functional and technical), the design of agentic workflows (assistant, human‑led, autonomous), multi‑agent orchestration, as well as the security, compliance, and observability mechanisms that ensure performance and reliability at scale. You will work in close partnership with product, data, security, risk, legal, and change teams to transform our capabilities and deliver value quickly and securely.

Your job 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in solution architecture, domain architecture, infrastructure and telecom architecture, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, business lines, development, and analysis, and lead technology choices related to Agentic AI.
• Interact with various stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Work closely with domain architects to evaluate new services related to Agentic AI.
• Design the architecture for implementing the Agentic AI platform that meets stakeholders’ business needs.
• Participate in the implementation and integration of end-to-end operationalized Agentic AI solutions in coordination with multiple delivery teams, supporting development teams to translate architectures into functional code.
• Promote the adoption of architecture and cybersecurity principles in the design and implementation of solutions.
• Diagnose problematic situations and intervene in resolving complex issues.

More specifically, within the Wealth Management and Financial Markets IT Delivery sector, which oversees the Agentic AI program across the organization, you will be part of a team of six colleagues reporting to the Senior Delivery Director. Our team stands out for its ability to govern the delivery of new technologies, acting as a HUB that collaborates with all Bank sectors to drive transformation.

Prerequisites

• Completed bachelor’s degree related to the field (e.g., software engineering) and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience as an architect delivering artificial intelligence projects, with solid knowledge of Agentic AI principles.
• Recognized as a technical reference in several of the following technologies/tools:

  • Agentic AI & Automation
  • LLMs (Large Language Models), e.g., GPT‑5, Claude Sonnet, Gemini
  • AWS AI services: Textract, Comprehend, SageMaker, Bedrock
  • General AWS services: Step Functions, SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, EC2, Route53, Event Bridge Scheduler
  • Traditional AI/ML: Deep learning, Random Forest, Snowflake Cortex
  • Data: Kafka, APIs, SQL, data modeling, MongoDB
    
• Mastery of concepts, technologies, and solutions in a modern ecosystem: domain-driven architecture, microservices, APIs, streaming, cloud technologies, real-time data flows, orchestration, access security, DevOps, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on coding experience: Java, Python, Terraform.
• Understanding and experience with SDLC methodologies (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile, and DevSecOps.
• Leadership, initiative, autonomy, and communication skills, particularly to challenge, influence, and positively engage stakeholders.
