A career as a product owner in the Platform Evolution team at National Bank means being responsible for maximising the business value of a data platform by prioritising, delivering and aligning analytics solutions with domain needs. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your experience in product management, agile delivery and data platforms.

Your job

  • Act as a product owner (PO – based on the Scrum/Agile methodology) in complex projects that translate into functionalities.
  • Deliver initiatives and contribute to the solution development roadmap.
  • Break down and sequence a target vision to maximise value delivery while taking into account constraints and interdependencies with other projects or sectors, including: build and manage the product backlog to achieve the business vision and prioritise the MVP (minimum viable product) on the delivery team based on business value.
  • Support and adapt to change, gain buy-in from others and manage resistance to change.
  • Continuously make improvements and corrections to the product to enhance the experience to meet current and future needs.

Your team

The Analytics, Data and Digital team is made up of several specialists who work agile, proactive and collaborative to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology and continuously improve processes.

Within the Analytics, Data and Digital sector, you will be part of a large multidisciplinary team working on the development and evolution of the Horizon platform, and you will report to the Senior Manager of the Data Platform sector. Our team stands out for its cross-sector collaboration, value orientation and its key role in democratising data across the organisation. Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience as a data engineering developer
  • Experience delivering solutions as a product owner (PO)
  • Ability to work in agile mode: Scrum, kanban, scaled Agile Framework (safe) and deliver without having all specifications
  • Experience with snowflake or equivalent analytics technology
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively

Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to carry out regularly tasks that require the use of IT apps and tools unavailable in French.
