A career as a Senior Advisor Transformation and Analytics in the Financial Markets Operations sector at National Bank means working in an environment focused on collaboration, transformation, and innovation. In this role you will contribute to the implementation of the transformation strategy through your experience in IT project management, your expertise in data science, and your initiative.

Your Role

  • Contribute to and/or take charge of the delivery of business initiatives by operationalizing, simplifying, or automating financial market operations processes 
  • Identify business needs, manage the impacts on financial markets operations, and recommend the most optimal solutions 
  • Play a key role in governance and data intelligence 
  • Facilitate the deployment of technological solutions by demonstrating a culture of autonomy and initiative 
  • Effectively communicate with IT stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and solutions 

Your team

You will be part of a team of 9 senior advisors in the Strategy and Business Processes sector, and you will report to the Senior Manager of the Market Event Management project team. We aim to offer you maximum flexibility in your work to support your quality of life. This includes hybrid work (in the office and remotely), flexible work hours to balance professional and personal life, and flexible time off when it matters most.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or another quantitative field and 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in finance or another quantitative field and 5 years of relevant experience 
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Git) 
  • Experience with programming (Python, Java) 
  • Experience in data science 
  • Experience in delivering IT projects and agile methodology 
  • Strong demonstrated leadership and influence in delivering/deploying initiatives
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
