As a Chief Business Analyst in the Capital Markets Technology team at National Bank, you’ll liaise with business teams and delivery teams.

You’ll work in Agile mode and will be part of a squad that manages and delivers business and technology projects for different sectors.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to use your business analysis skills to help implement new technologies and make a positive impact on our organization.

Your job
  • Lead workshops with multiple stakeholders with varied levels and expertise
  • Model current and target processes based on the Bank’s existing mapping practices
  • Carry out high level and detailed impact analyses on all angles of processes, with the help of experts
  • Apply best practices to identify and draft business requirements (functional, non-functional, informational, transitional), understand their links and ensure their traceability
  • Define and identify user test scenarios and support users with operational transfer
  • Make proposals for change management strategies for users of the solution.

You are part of a large team in the Electronic Trading sector and will report to the Senior Director.

Prerequisites
  • University degree in a related field and several years of relevant experience
  • Business analysis skills in a tech-based ecosystem, ability to think strategically, analytically, synthesis and communication skills
  • Experience in the end-to-end transformation of complex business processes, continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment and mapping and modeling, BPMN, Lean approach
  • Experience with testing scenarios and user support
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian suite tools (Jira, Confluence, Tempo etc.).
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management Capital Markets activities (custody of values, manufacturing and fund operations, fiduciary services and brokerage operations, an asset
  • Experience with the Global Plus system, and/or XSP system, an asset.
