A career as a Lead Developer for the Wealth Management sector consists of joining the multidisciplinary BAO team and acting as an expert by contributing to the development of applications related to account openings and the management of National Bank's clients' investment profiles. As a member of the team, you will actively participate in the Bank's digital transformation and play a key role in improving processes and technologies.

Your job

  • Produce technological solutions that meet business needs and are aligned with architecture orientations
  • Influencing Architecture Decisions and Directions to Automate Development Processes
  • Collaborate with technical teams (solution and data architects, functional analysts, developers, etc.) and be able to challenge proposals
  • Act as a reference expert for the technological aspects of the product
  • Diagnose problematic situations and intervene in the resolution of complex problems
  • Actively contribute to deliveries with development teams

Your team

As a lead developer, you are part of a team consisting of 4 developers and an analyst. You will work in collaboration with the business lines of the wealth management sector (National Bank Financial) and the financial market sector (National Bank Direct Brokerage).

Prerequisite

  • Bachelor's degree or other industry-related degree and more than six years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years as an application designer or architect in a software delivery team
  • Mastery of Cloud concepts and technologies, REST APIs, web security and APIs, real-time data flows, Kafka and MQ
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, git, Docker and Nexus tools
  • Experience in agile delivery: Scrum, SAFe or DevOps
  • Adaptability in a changing context

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
