Your job

• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs (functional and non-functional) with the goal of designing data architecture (conceptual, logical, and physical) and quality end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business and architecture objectives.
• Technology Expertise in Integration: Evaluate and recommend appropriate emerging technologies, platforms and tools for each project and ensure solutions are scalable, secure and compliant with industry standards
• Integration Pattern: Identify the most appropriate integration patterns, such as APIs, streaming, MSA, containerization/serverless that allow scalability, maintainability and are decoupled, secure and at a lower cost
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD): Apply DDD principles to solve complex problems while delivering a composable and iterative architecture
• Data Management: Participate in the identification of data, catalog, quality, traceability and documentation of data
• Cloud Expertise: Produce cloud-native or hybrid solutions by offering the most appropriate AWS cloud services for the context of the project such as Serverless and containers
• Security and Risk Management Expertise: Develop and implement robust security measures to protect data, applications, and systems and ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulations
• Leadership and Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, presenting and explaining technical solutions while leading and mentoring a team of developers throughout the project lifecycle.

Prerequisite

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology completed, and ten years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Information Technology, and eight years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a solutions/data architect, with a focus on large-scale, complex solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of the following technologies/tools: DDD (Domain Driven Design), ODS (Operational data store), OpenAPI and AsyncAPI standard, Power Designer modeling, Collibra business catalog
• In-depth knowledge of software design and development
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services, such as EKS and Serverless, as well as structured and unstructured databases, such as RDS, Dynamo DB, and S3
• Proficiency in the concepts, technologies and solutions of a modern ecosystem, including composable architecture, microservices, APIs, event architecture, orchestration, security and cloud services
• Excellent communication and influence skills.
• Strong ability to synthesize, analyze and popularize.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• AWS Solution Architect Associate and/or Professional certification is an asset
