A career as a full-stack developer in the IT Delivery Wealth Management team at National Bank means acting as an expert in the development of several front-end and back-end applications. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your diverse development knowledge. You will join a cross-functional, inspiring team that respects the best practices in software development and that will support several other Wealth Management teams to implement good development and delivery practices

Your job

  • Participate in technical analysis and architecture choices.
  • Develop the functionalities of several applications (react, Node, java, scripting, python...)
  • Produce maintainable and robustly tested code (unitary, integration, end2end).
  • Mentor and assist developers from other Wealth Management teams in their tasks.
  • Participate in technical challenges to improve the codebase (change of the design system, perf, micro-servicing etc.)
  • Implement and use methodological tools (AGILE tools, technical scripts, study of user behavior, etc.).
  • Be the technical relay between several teams
  • Accompany several other teams in the development and delivery process
  • Evolving development standards, processes and techniques

Your team

Within the Wealth management sector, you are part of a team of 4 colleagues, and you report to Director. We ultimately aim to offer you maximum flexibility and quality of life. This notably means a hybrid work environment, as well as adaptable working hours

Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access personalized training content on such topics as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development

Basic requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development
  • Master Java microservices / APIs architecture with Spring Boot
  • Excellent react knowledge for frontend development
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud/Quality testing/Security concepts (KMS, SSO, Data Encryption, ...) is an asset.
  • Master DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, JUnit).
  • Knowledge of agile methodology in order to adopt software development best practices, such as automated testing, code review, and DevOps techniques.
  • Be an experienced developer who enjoys taking on the challenges of technological transformation.
  • Enjoy working in a team, be a teacher and comfortable sharing your knowledge.
