A career as a DevOps Integrator within the Payment Delivery and Operations team at National Bank means acting as a key pillar for automation, resilience, and performance of technological solutions. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization by ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and observability of our IT systems. 

 

 

Your role

 

  • Improve the performance, reliability, availability, and security of payment IT systems following best practices
  • Automate repetitive tasks and deployment processes
  • Implement and maintain observability solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance application resilience
  • Participate in incident analysis and resolution
  • Take part in the 24/7 on-call support rotation
  • Optimize cloud resource costs and management based on FinOps principles
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of cloud architectures (AWS)

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or DEC in computer science (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Integrator
  • Experience with the following infrastructures: Terraform, Ansible, Unix shell
  • Experience in software development using languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and solid knowledge of GitHub Actions and GitHub
  • Extensive experience in scripting and automation
  • Proficiency with AWS environments, including EKS, ASG, ELB, S3, FSx-N
  • Understanding of AWS security concepts such as IAM roles and Security Groups
  • Cloud certifications (AWS) are an asset 

 

Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
