A career as a Senior Front‑end React Developer within the Data & Analytics team at National Bank Financial means acting as a specialist in developing modern, high‑performance web interfaces that are centred on user experience. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your front‑end development expertise, your ability to translate business needs into concrete solutions, and your commitment to delivering high‑quality digital experiences.


Your role


  • Design, develop and evolve high‑performance, maintainable web interfaces using React
  • Translate business requirements and UX/UI mockups into reusable, consistent and accessible components
  • Optimize front‑end performance, code quality and user experience across all user journeys
  • Integrate interfaces with existing APIs and work closely with backend teams
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, solution reviews and the continuous improvement of front‑end practices
  • Contribute to the evolution of UI standards and the adoption of best practices related to performance and accessibility

Prerequisites


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in front‑end development with React
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, as well as HTML and CSS technologies
  • Experience with UI libraries or frameworks
  • Experience integrating REST APIs or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of best practices related to code quality, performance and accessibility.
