A senior developer IaC role within the Innovation and Cloud Services Modernization team at National Bank means acting as an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expert at the heart of digital transformation. With your development skills, experience in Terraform Cloud, and mastery of CI/CD environments, you'll directly enhance the journey of application developers.


Your role 

  • Deploy the HCP Terraform (Terraform Cloud) solution and integrate it with National Bank’s Software Engineering and DevOps tools.
  • Design Golden CI/CD/CT pipelines reusable across multiple programming languages.
  • Implement Ansible Platform and oversee its integration into the enterprise DevOps environment.
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand their IT challenges and needs, and propose/implement tailored technical solutions.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and software engineering excellence (SWE).
  • Promote industry best practices within the team.
  • Contribute to the automation of the sector.
  • And of course… Code!


Your team

Within the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) sector, we are a group dedicated to governance and the deployment of cloud automation platforms at National Bank.

You’ll be part of an Agile, DevOps, and Lean team that fosters a culture of excellence. We emphasize automating everything we do (Everything as Code) using IaC/GitOps principles and an API-driven approach. We value continuous learning in all its forms: learning by doing, access to curated training content, and collaboration with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise.


Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong expertise in Python.
  • AWS certification (DevOps or other).
  • Proficiency with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Jira (Atlassian suite).
  • Familiarity with SonarQube, HashiCorp Vault, Docker, and Azure Cloud.
Languages:
English, French
