A career as a Murex Chief Developer in production support within the Capital Markets team at the National Bank means acting as a technological specialist for the Murex software and making a positive impact through your expertise in front-to-back solution integration. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic projects in a dynamic and stimulating environment.

Your job
  • Deliver Level 1 support for end-user issues across functional, technical, integration, valuation, and pricing domains.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
  • Manage daily tasks to meet application support deliverables and service-level agreements.
  • Assist in resolving user requests and contribute to team-based problem-solving initiatives.
  • Monitor and stay informed on application developments, upgrades, and new releases.
  • Participate in scheduled off-hours support for pre-end-of-day kick-off and weekend rotations as required.

Prerequisites
  • A bachelor’s degree in the field and 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in the field and 3 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth expertise in Murex system features for one or more of the following products : interest rates, exchange rates, commodities, credit derivatives, bonds, equity derivatives
  • Proficient at least one of the following languages : JAVA, XML, XSL, SQL, UNIX, Shell scripts

English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
