As a Developer in the Software Engineering team at National Bank, you’ll act as one of the main actors in sustaining a continuous evolution of our orchestration solution bringing efficiency to our development community.With your acute knowledge of development using GoLang, Python and Angular, your experience with infrastructure components such as AWS, EKS, HashiCorp Vault and your knowledge of the CI/CD landscape including GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, management of artifacts, you’ll have a positive impact on the team culture, respect of the Agile processes, continuous improvement and embellish our client experience.

Your role:

Develop in Python, GoLang and Angular in the different code bases
Contribute to the different Cloud & DevOps tools available at the Bank, through template development or direct contributions to other teams’ code
Assist and evangelize our clients in the use of our products
Be creative, in order to bring in new ideas which then would become functionalities or products
Participate to Agile ceremonies in order to help to define priorities, groom stories, offer new functionalities, using a product perspective

Your team:

As part of the Software Engineering sector, you’ll be on a team of 5 of colleagues and you’ll report to the DevSecOps Director. Our team stands out for the simplification of the developer experience, the continuous improvement of processes and the orchestrated governance, our rigorous practices as well as fun atmosphere promoting a sense of collaboration and mutual aid.

Prerequisites:

Proven experience and efficiency coding in Python and GoLang
Experience with working with databases and integrating with 3rd party solutions using REST API
Practical knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes and Docker
Knowledge of software development best practices, including programming standards, code review, source code management, tests
Knowledge of CI/CD principles
Good collaboration attitude and autonomy
