A career as a Senior Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst in the it – Capital Markets team at National Bank means serving as a specialist in regulatory data management and optimisation. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your expertise in data management, regulatory compliance and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Your job

  • Implement, configure and optimise data structures in data tables or ETL (DataStage) to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Design or adapt end-of-day data processing flows to meet the requirements of international markets (Canadian, U.S., European, Asian).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide functional, data and quality assurance analyses.
  • Participate in the technological transformation of the Capital Markets regulatory sector.
  • Make decisions easier by providing strategic analyses and ensuring data quality.

in the it – Capital Markets sector, you are part of a large team of specialists and report to the it Asset Manager. Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field and several years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth and comprehensive expertise in financial product data in the context of capital markets
  • Ability to quickly learn a new ETL tool (i.e. DataStage)
  • Proficiency in SQL Query
  • Experience in managing stakeholders, working with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Proficient collaborative work tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Office 365.
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
