A career as a Senior Data Scientist in the Customer Data Valorization and Advanced Analytics team at National Bank means acting as a specialist to support the commercial sector. It is through your innovative side, your experience in migrating processes to cloud systems and your ability to question the existing and influence partners that you have a positive impact on the customer experience and the results of the organization.

Your job:

  • Carry out various complex studies, research and analyses in order to provide useful information for decision-making, to promote appropriate solutions and to intervene in the optimization of work processes
  • Be on the lookout for new developments in your sector of activity (companies) and review systems and work processes in order to improve them and ensure their profitability with a view to continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with various internal and external stakeholders who may provide information relevant to the conduct of analyses
  • Perform the exploration and extraction of complex data patterns responding to specific marketing initiatives mainly in the enterprise sector
  • Execute and coordinate analytical and data mining exercises, including data transformation and data visualization steps
  • Ensure the review and integration of recent technological and mathematical advances relevant to business needs
  • Support product and marketing strategy teams in the development and elaboration of initiatives.

Your team:

Within the Customer Experience & Digital department, you will be part of a team of 12 colleagues and report to the Senior Director – Customer Data Valuation and Advanced Analytics (VDCAA). Prerequisite:

  • Industry-related bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience OR Industry-related master's degree and three years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge and skills of data science algorithms, including segmentation/clustering, regression, classification, time series techniques
  • Expertise with SAS, Python, SQL, and Spark through the cloud platform (Snowflake, AWS) for predictive and descriptive analytical modeling
  • Ability to communicate mathematical results to a non-expert audience.
