A career as an auditor in the Internal Audit team at National Bank offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Bank and to build strong connections with partners across various business lines. This position will allow you to have a positive impact on our organization through your critical thinking and analytical skills, which will lead you to make recommendations for achieving the Bank's strategic objectives or ensuring strict risk management.

As an auditor, you will be called upon to participate in audit mandates that cover the activities of all Bank sectors, such as Financial Markets, Wealth Management, Personal and Commercial Banking, as well as the Finance sector.

Your job
  • Assist in audit planning, including risk identification and audit objectives
  • Perform audit work surrounded by a team of experienced auditors
  • Use and promote the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence as tools to achieve audit objectives
  • Communicate clearly and transparently the results of your audit work to the audit team and participate in conveying recommendations to the partners of the audited sectors
  • Perform financial and non-financial audit work in support of independent auditors in the context of the audit of the Bank's and its subsidiaries' financial statements
Your team

Joining National Bank's Internal Audit means becoming part of a dynamic and innovative team where management practices promote a good work-life balance. Your team, named "Professional Support," consists of 5 auditors, and data analysts and stands out for its daily collaboration with the 80 internal auditors spread across various teams, each with their fields of expertise.

You will thus develop your auditing skills while acquiring knowledge on a multitude of subjects and risks the Bank faces.

Prerequisite
  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector and 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • CPA designation or candidate for the profession
  • Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, or SAS, as well as artificial intelligence technologies (e.g., Co-pilot and ChatGPT)
  • Ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate innovation in finding solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and synthesize information
  • Ability to use, organize, and analyze data to draw relevant conclusions
  • Ability to work in a team
