A career as a Technical Advisor within the Legal Affairs – Wealth Management and Financial Markets team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in legal and operational support for legal teams.
This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in legal file coordination, regulatory research, document management, and process improvement. You will contribute directly to the efficiency of wealth management activities while expanding your knowledge in a collaborative and stimulating environment.

Your Role
  • Coordinate legal files by overseeing follow-ups, execution, organization, archiving, and the maintenance of documentation and internal databases.
  • Participate in the preparation, review, formatting, and standardization of legal documents related to transactional and operational activities.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research to support the team's analyses and activities.
  • Support legal advisors in the day-to-day management of their files and mandates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes, and work methods to enhance the team’s operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate on files across various business sectors, including wealth management, financial markets, private equity, and certain compliance-related initiatives.

Prerequisites
  • Hold a college diploma in Paralegal Technology or a related field.
  • Have 2 to 5 years of experience in a legal environment, either in a law firm or in-house.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Have experience preparing, reviewing, formatting, and managing professional or legal documentation.
  • Show an interest in artificial intelligence tools and their use in a professional setting.
  • Have a strong interest in wealth management, transactional activities, and legal support.
Languages:
English, French
