Your job

  • Support the teams responsible for migrating our workloads to AWS
  • Inspire a positive work environment and help as a cloud security champion
  • Identify risks and vulnerabilities before, during and after migration, recommend corrective actions to maintain or improve security posture
  • Work with developers and infrastructure teams to understand their security needs, deliver tailored solutions and educate them on cloud security best practices
  • Participate in working group discussions and provide strategic cloud security advice and recommendations
  • Work closely with enterprise architects, report on field gaps, provide advice and influence architecture strategy
  • Assess cybersecurity compliance against different Canadian and international regulatory frameworks/frameworks
  • Produce, maintain and communicate indicators to stakeholders (progress, performance, risk, etc.).

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree completed, industry related, and a few years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of security best practices in AWS
  • One or more certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH or others in the cyber security field, an asset
  • Knowledge of one of the key cyber regulatory frameworks for financial institutions (PCI, OSFI, FFIEC, NYDFS, etc.), an asset
  • Knowledge of one of the key privacy regulatory frameworks (Law 25, PIPEDA, GDPR, GLBA, etc.), an asset
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud critical components (e.g. IAM, KMS, VPC, Service Control Policies)
  • Proven ability to advise and support technical teams in applying security best practices.
