A career as an Associate Director or Director in Cash Management Solutions within the Corporate Development and Cash Management team at National Bank means acting as a strategic expert advisor to our institutional clients within Financial Markets. This position allows you to make a meaningful impact by designing innovative, tailored solutions to optimize cash management and financial operations for large corporations across regional, national, and international levels.

In this individual contributor role, you will manage a strategic portfolio of large public multinational and domestic corporations, collaborating with internal partners to address complex client needs.


Your Job

• Develop and execute cash management strategies to maximize non-credit revenue.
• Advise clients on their cash flow needs and provide customized solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value clients, fostering long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Financial Markets Treasury and Risk Management Solutions, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cash management products.
• Represent the Bank at external events, increasing its visibility in regional, national, and international markets.


Your Team

You will be part of a dynamic team of about 12 professionals in cash management solutions and a larger team of over 400 colleagues in Corporate and Investment Banking across Canada. You will report to the Senior Director - Cash Management, Corporate & Investment Banking.

Basic Requirements

• Post-secondary education with at least 5 years of relevant experience in cash management or related fields.
• Proven expertise in cash management and mastery of related financial products.
• Experience with large corporations and an understanding of financial markets on national and international levels.
• Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) (an asset).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Regional travel up to 10% of the time.
