Your job:

  • Rigorously analyze the needs of the team's customers, produce personalized financial plans, and determine an integrated financial strategy with them.
  • Manage the implementation of recommendations resulting from the financial plans.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up and establish frequent contact with clients to monitor their evolving needs, offering tailored solutions and an exceptional client experience.
  • Collaborate with various specialists from different sectors of the bank to meet all needs and guide you in your advisory role.
  • Supervise the integration process of new clients.
  • Ensure the application of service and operational quality standards, as well as compliance and risk management rules.
  • Collaborate with other wealth management advisors on your team to build and manage portfolios.
  • Support your team members in the preparation of annual business plans and track progress.
  • Conduct the integration, training, and coaching of new team members.
  • Identify and exploit business development opportunities to increase the number of new clients and grow the volume of existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with other wealth management advisors on your team to develop innovative marketing strategies aimed at maximizing results.
  • Coordinate the organization and planning of seminar content for clients.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in finance, financial planning, taxation, or a related discipline
  • Financial Planner accreditation, an asset
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
  • Knowledge in taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning
  • Holding another professional designation (CFA, CIM, CAIA, CPA, TEP, etc.), an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the economy
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ease with software and computer systems
  • Analytical skills
  • Organizational and priority management skills
  • Ability to develop trusting and lasting relationships
  • Propensity to offer quick and efficient service
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player with a collaborative spirit
