A career as a Chief Data Functional Analyst in the IT Cybercrime Delivery Team at National Bank means acting as a data integration specialist.

This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your skills and experience.

Your job

  • Identify, analyze and document the business and functional needs of our stakeholders
  • Define solutions and write functional data integration briefs for developer teams (ETL), including expected system behaviors, use cases, and user interactions with the system
  • Assist and participate in the realization of the development strategy, tests and their automation
  • Participate in the development of robust and stable solutions for all requests
  • Linking business needs and technological requirements
  • Analyze data and participate in end-to-end testing
  • Understand current processes and establish target processes by working closely with multiple stakeholders.

Within the IT Cybercrimes Delivery sector, you are part of a team of more than 100 colleagues and report to the Senior Director. Our team stands out for its quality of delivery, its experience and its ability to work on several projects.

Tools such as the Data Academy, language training, the Harvard Learning Centre and coaching and mentoring support are available to you at all times.

Prerequisites

  • University degree related to the industry and several years (minimum 3 years) of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development and delivery methodologies
  • Have an excellent command of SQL
  • Data Modeling Experience (Dimensional Model, DataVault Model)
  • Good knowledge of event flows (Kafka, ETL)
  • Demonstrated experience in business, functional, technical and application analysis in a complex organization
  • Experience in a banking environment, desirable
  • Hands-on experience with quality assurance testing
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence...).

English, French
