Are you looking to make a direct and positive impact by contributing to the transformation of National Bank? As a Senior Operational Risk Advisor, you will play a key role by overseeing the activities of a squad dedicated to managing operational, technological, and cyber risks, while collaborating closely with IT teams. Your expertise in risk management and leadership will be essential in guiding your team to success.

Your job:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to operational, technological, and cyber risk management between the squad and the supported IT delivery unit.
  • Serve as a reference for squad members.
  • Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies and plans.
  • Present the sector’s risk posture to executives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to risk management.
  • Take functional leadership of the squad and drive strategic changes.
  • Assess technological risks related to IT infrastructures, applications, and processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement security controls and risk mitigation measures.
  • Facilitate communication between your team and other departments.
Your Team: 

Within the IT Delivery sector, you are part of a larger team of 8 colleagues and report to the Senior Director. Our team stands out for its expertise, dynamism, and strong camaraderie.

You can access personalized training content on such topics as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.

Prerequisite:

  • A degree in computer science, risk management, information security, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management, including 2 years in a functional leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, NIST) and security standards (ISO 27001).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop your team.
  • Demonstrated political acumen and influential leadership.
