As a Full Stack Developer of the Corporate Data – Business Intelligence and Data Management team, you’ll play a key role on a DevOps squad whose mission is to innovate and develop new ways to integrate data into our assets. You will be tasked with making it easier for our clients and consumers to access the data in our data warehouse.

Your role:
  • Design and develop integration solutions, including full data exposure and consumption using API (Java), Jobs ETL (DataStage) and/or Kafka Streams (Confluent Cloud).
  • Design and implement DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipelines while ensuring that they integrate properly with other development tools as part of the software development lifecycle (Jenkins)
  • Rollout the solutions and contribute to their development in the cloud (AWS).
  • Diagnose problems and solve complex issues by ensuring that the developed solutions are permanent in order to support continuous improvement of our assets
  • Implement continuous deployment strategies while ensuring high availability of production systems
  • Contribute to the automation of continuous integration and deployment and testing processes

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or the equivalent
  • Knowledge of software development, source code management and DevOps tools (Jenkins, github, Nexus, Docker, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of micro-services and API in the cloud (AWS)
  • Solid knowledge of Java (SpringBoot)
  • Experience manipulating and using databases (Oracle)
  • Ability to develop Jobs ETL (DataStage, an asset)
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology
  • Development experience on teams following DevOps and continuous integration best practices
