A career as a Writer - to advisors and clients in the advisory community team at National Bank Financial Wealth Management means acting as an expert in simplifying and popularizing content for advisors and clients. It is through your strong synthesis skills and the quality of your writing that you will have a positive impact on the advisor and client experience.

Your day-to-day tasks :

Revise and synthesize our Info-Advice sheets and other content for experts in clear, easy-to-understand language
Produce and synthesize Info-Advice sheets for clients as well as other more complex content relating to financial literacy concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language
Write brief SharePoint texts promoting our content (emails, newsletters, etc.)
Revise content to ensure not only quality writing but also a consistent tone and messaging to advisors and clients
Work closely with the content experts to establish the process and timelines necessary for content delivery
Manage all stages of projects related to writing (legal editing, English translation or adaptation, language review and quality control)
Ensure compliance with editorial standards and contribute to the implementation of a strong brand tone
Ensure that writing, optimization and inclusivity best practices are put in place and into practice

Your Team :

As part of the National Bank Financial Wealth Management Advisor Community team, you will be part of a team of 8 colleagues and several consultants. Our team stands out by providing content for advisors and clients in the areas of financial planning, estate and tax planning to help them make informed decisions and to take action.

We favor a variety of continuous learning to enrich your development, including hands on learning, training content made available to you and working in collaboration with colleagues with diverse expertise and profiles

Prerequisistes:

Bachelor’s degree in French, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, and five (5) to six (6) years of relevant experience in digital writing
Experience writing informational content
Excellent plain language writing skills
Interest in finance and economics, an asset
Creativity, agility and authenticity
Excellent command of French (written and spoken) AND good command of English (written and spoken)

Languages:

English, French

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
