A career as a Senior Data Engineering Developer in the Personal Data Management and Valorization team at National Bank means playing a key role in the design and optimization of data solutions. This job allows you to have a direct impact by using your expertise in data engineering to transform and enhance data in the service of our business objectives.

Your job

  • Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion, cleansing, and transformation.
  • Optimize the performance of data processing systems (SQL, Spark).
  • Implement monitoring indicators to ensure data quality.
  • Participate in the data strategy by influencing the business teams on the organization and presentation of data.
  • Automate and deploy real-time data integration solutions.
  • Participate in the identification and documentation of authoritative data sources that meet the needs of our business lines

Within the Data Management and Valuation Individuals sector, you are part of a large team of 10 colleagues and report to the Senior Director Data Foundation. Prerequisite

  • Field-relevant education and between 1 and 3 years of experience in data engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Knowledge of a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake and/or Databricks.
  • Experience in data modeling (data vault, dimensional) and data quality management.
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (JIRA, Jenkins, Git).
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, good communication and comfort in stakeholder management.
