A career as an Instructional designer in the Learning Strategies and Talent Development (LSTD) team means acting as a specialist in the development of learning solutions, through dynamic methods where your creativity will be a key element to your success in this position.

The activities or strategies you will develop will support the acquisition of knowledge and skills and contribute to a stimulating and mobilizing learning experience. It is through your passion for talent development, your learning experience and your knowledge of content creation that you have a positive impact on the employee and customer experience.

Your job

  • Understand the ecosystem, needs, and tools available to deliver innovative learning solutions.
  • Work closely with the learning ecosystem in place, both within the team and with our different partners.
  • Create training and continuing education plans specific to key competencies
  • Create dynamic tools that promote learning and generate a positive impact on employees
  • Ensure the governance of training plans or other learning solutions
  • Establish measurement and feedback mechanisms following the implementation of learning solutions in order to validate the impact on the targeted audience
  • Using emerging technologies in the development of learning solutions

Your team

At LSTD, you will be part of a team of 14 colleagues committed to learning and the experience we provide to operations employees. You will report to the LSTD – Design Manager. Our team stands out for its expertise in performance monitoring, its active and transversal support to Operations, not to mention our collaboration and our great family spirit, which are core values at LSTD.

We favor a variety of forms of continuous learning to enrich your development, including learning in action, training content made available to you and working in collaboration with colleagues with diverse expertise and profiles.

Basic requirements

  • Industry-related bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in setting up and developing learning solutions
  • Very good knowledge of a design methodology (ADDIE, SAM or other)
  • Very good knowledge of needs analysis in a development context learning solutions
  • Experience in training delivery, an asset.
  • Ability to learn independently
  • Knowledge of Articulate/Rise (strong asset), Vyond, Abode Pro 2023, Clipchamp and other design tools
  • Good knowledge of Confluence, SharePoint and the Office suite 
Languages:
English, French
