A career as a Web Development Manager in  Digital Channels at National Bank means being a technical leader who inspires and guides a team dedicated to innovation. Your key role will help shape our digital future with your software development expertise, strategic vision, and collaborative leadership.


Your job:


  • Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers and technical leaders.
  • Promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain development standards and best practices.
  • Manage technical debt and drive adoption of DevOps practices.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve development processes.


Your team:


You will be part of the Retail Digital Delivery team, made up of about a hundred dynamic colleagues, and you will report to the Senior Director of Software Development. Your team will be made up of a dozen web development specialists. We stand out for our expertise in customer experience development and our proactive collaboration.

Tools such as the Data Academy, language training, the Harvard Learning Center, and coaching and mentoring support are available to you at all times.


Prerequisite:


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in web development, including approximately 3 years in technical leadership, in the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Maven, React and TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DevOps tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services or a Cloud certification (an asset).
  • Strategic vision and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to rigorously structure and document, monitor and deliver multiple simultaneous initiatives.
